We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Woodwork Painter to join our team and specialize in the finishing of polished, high-quality wooden boxes.

As a Woodwork Painter at Sapphire Plastic Products Manufacturing, you will be responsible for preparing and applying premium finishes to wooden boxes. Your role will ensure that each box is painted and polished to perfection, meeting our high standards for quality and craftsmanship. If you have a keen eye for detail and experience in working with fine wood finishes, we would love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Prepare wooden surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and priming.

- Apply various types of paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to create a polished and refined look on wooden boxes.

- Ensure an even, smooth, and flawless finish, using appropriate techniques to highlight the wood's natural grain and enhance its appearance.

- Mix paints and stains to achieve the desired colors and textures as per project requirements.

- Polish and buff finished boxes to a high sheen, ensuring a professional-grade finish.

- Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality standards and consistency in color, texture, and finish.

- Maintain and care for all painting tools and equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality application.

- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Woodwork Painter, with a strong portfolio or examples of high-quality wooden finishes (especially for wooden boxes).

- Expertise in applying various wood finishes, including stains, paints, and polishes, with an eye for creating a smooth, glossy, and consistent finish.

- Knowledge of sanding, priming, and painting techniques specific to fine woodwork.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to meet quality standards.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Physical stamina and dexterity for repetitive tasks.

- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

- A valid driver's license may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience with the finishing of wooden boxes or similar products.

- Experience in working with eco-friendly or sustainable wood finishes.

- Formal training or certification in painting, woodworking, or a related field.
