Job Title: Painter and Blacksmith

Job Summary:

The Painter and Blacksmith will operate in a car garage located in Industrial Area 1, behind Sharjah City Centre, focusing on precise, high-quality painting and metalwork for automotive components. This sensitive role requires a detail-oriented professional with significant experience, committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation and Painting:
• Clean, sand, and prime surfaces for painting.
• Mix and apply automotive paints to achieve exact colors and finishes.
• Ensure even and flawless paint application on vehicle parts, performing touch-ups as needed.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and correct any imperfections.
• Blacksmithing and Metal Fabrication:
• Repair, shape, and assemble metal components specific to automotive needs.
• Use blacksmithing and welding tools to work on frames, body parts, and structural components.
• Fabricate metal parts according to detailed specifications and ensure durability.
• Inspect metalwork to confirm adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Quality Control:
• Perform detailed inspections of all work to meet automotive standards and company specifications.
• Identify and resolve any issues, maintaining detailed records of materials and tools used.
• Maintenance and Safety in a Garage Setting:
• Clean and maintain tools and workspace regularly, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Use protective gear and follow strict safety protocols to minimize risks.
• Handle hazardous materials and tools carefully, keeping a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Coordinate with mechanics, other garage team members, and supervisors.
• Report any challenges to supervisors to maintain smooth operations in the garage.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in automotive painting and blacksmithing roles.
• Skills:
• Expertise in automotive painting, including spray and brush applications.
• Strong blacksmithing skills specific to automotive repairs and customizations.
• Ability to read and interpret automotive technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality for precise work.
• English communication skills, with understanding of Arabic preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a garage, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
• Education: Certification or formal training in automotive painting and blacksmithing is preferred but not required with extensive experience.
