Job Overview

Sky Colour Paint Shop, located at Sadana Signal, Industrial area 2 in Sharjah, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Paint Mixer to join our team. The Paint Mixer will be responsible for preparing and customizing paint colors for automotive and electronic applications, ensuring precision and quality in every batch.

Key Responsibilities

Paint Mixing and Formulation

• Prepare and mix paint colors according to customer requirements or job specifications.
• Utilize advanced tools like mixing machines and spectrophotometers for accurate blending.
• Adjust formulas to achieve precise colors, textures, and finishes

Color Matching Expertise

• Match colors using visual assessment and computerized systems.
• Perform tests on surfaces to confirm color accuracy and finish quality.

Quality Assurance

• Inspect mixed paints to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
• Address and resolve any inconsistencies or customer concerns.

Inventory and Record Management

• Maintain accurate records of paint formulas and mixing processes.
• Monitor stock levels of paints, solvents, and materials, ensuring timely restocking.

Equipment Maintenance

• Regularly clean and maintain paint mixing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the manager.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow all safety guidelines, including the safe handling and disposal of chemicals.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in paint mixing, preferably in automotive or electronics sectors.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in paint technology is a bonus.

Skills :

• Strong understanding of color theory and paint composition.
• Proficiency in using paint mixing tools and software.
• Attention to detail and excellent color perception.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working with chemical fumes and in a fast-paced environment.

• Based at Sky Colour Paint in Sadana Signal, opposite Al Nukhbah Cars Auctions L.L.C, Sharjah.
