Designation: Packer

Qualification: Secondary School Education

Experience: 0-1 years in packing industry

Job Purpose: To package aluminum profiles, sheets and fabricated profiles in automated or manual packing lines in proper way as required and recommended by the shift supervisor in order to achieve the required packaging quality and quantity as planned by the management.

Job Responsibilities:

• To perform visual Quality Control and reject defected profiles in separate stillages, which is in each packing machine, in order to resend it, back to the Remelting department.
• To prepare small bundles, placing interleave paper between profiles or carton strips etc. According to the Packing Specifications.
• To be able to load and unload all necessary packing material to the machine.
• To make all necessary modifications and set-ups in foil machine so that protective film can be put in Aluminium profiles
• To take care about the line miscellaneous and consumable items located in the packing area such as packing materials, plastic or metal strips etc.
• To make all necessary set ups in the packing machine according to geometry of packed profiles.
• Ensure the conformity to product and process requirements while performing the tasks.
• Follow and adhere to the Company policies, rules and procedures.
• Follow and adhere to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment requirements as per management's instructions.
• Ensure that all activities are conforming to ISO 9001 requirements.
