Overview:

We are seeking a talented Packaging Designer with prior experience in a print house to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in designing packaging that is both visually compelling and functional, with a deep understanding of print production processes. This role requires collaboration with multiple teams to create packaging solutions that align with our brand and meet industry standards for quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging Design:

• Develop innovative and eye-catching packaging designs for a variety of products, ensuring both aesthetics and functionality.
• Work closely with product development, marketing, and production teams to ensure designs meet branding guidelines and packaging requirements.
• Create die lines and 3D mockups for packaging prototypes, ensuring proper sizing, layout, and technical specifications.

Print Production:

• Prepare and finalize packaging files for print, ensuring accuracy with color management, bleeds, and file setup.

Material and Sustainability Innovation:

• Stay informed about new materials, techniques, and trends in sustainable packaging design.

Brand Consistency:

• Ensure all packaging designs maintain brand consistency and uphold the visual identity of the company.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of packaging regulations, labeling requirements, and market trends.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to deliver design projects on time.
• Present design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback and revisions where necessary.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a packaging designer, with at least 2 years working in a print house or similar environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and packaging design software
• Strong knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation for printing, color management, and print specifications.
• Ability to create both 2D and 3D packaging designs.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
