Experience of static and rotation packaged equipment including gas turbines, compressors and utility packages.
Technical review and approval of Packaged Equipment C&I documentation
Detailed knowledge of Process Automation Systems (DCS, ESD, VMS and CMS) and interfaces with package equipment.
Support development of project P&IDs, C&Es associated with packaged equipment interfaces.
Support Process Automation System (DCS, ESD, VMS and CMS) design document technical reviews.
Participate in relevant meetings, such as Packaged Equipment technical reviews, Interface Meetings, HAZOP, SIL etc
Liaise and interact with Client and other disciplines to ensure overall project goals are met
Ensure all packaged equipment deliverables are aligned with client procedures and national standards
Conversant with Aramco Standards and relevant international standards and Codes or Practice
Have knowledge of Control and safeguarding philosophies and specifications
Have knowledge of design and installation of foundation fieldbus systems, process control and measurement principles, pneumatic and electrical control and / or monitoring systems , protective systems and interfaces to motor control switchgear.
Member of a recognized institution and registered Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer
Worked in an EPC environment
Technical input and checking of C&I design deliverables.
Hands on experience with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI)
Qualifications:
Experience of 10-15 years in Oil & gas
Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation and Control required
Saudi Aramco experience preferred
