SUMMARY

To ensure sales process management is followed and all goals and objectives are met, sales process standards are set and being adhered to viz: territory management, business communication, and sales force automation.

2. KEY DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Principal duties and accountabilities

To take care of Exports / Imports - Dry/Reefer from/to Oman Maximize sales by effective selling to achieve / exceed sales budget in terms of volume / revenue; Constantly monitor the market developments to identify the new biz opportunities. Constantly monitor current book of biz, weekly updates to Management with monthly market reports. Proficient usage of CMACGM systems LARA, NOVA & other sales tools. Weekly Sales forecast To bring in new biz & maintain the existing customers. Sales visits - To fix up appointments with the customers in order to know their requirements & new biz opportunities; Identify & develop business relationships with new customers through regular review visits. To send rate request to the pricing for both exports / imports (Dry/ Reefer/Special Cargo) in the LARA system to see that all rates are filed & in order in LARA. Sending out Sales leads to the origins for all possible CIF biz. Sending freight quotations for the biz enquiries/ follow ups. Sending out Weekly reports, Market Reports & any other market Intelligence report as & when requested by local Management, Trade & meeting the submission deadline. To achieve other business group KPIs - Intermodal, VAS (Value Added Services), X-sell. Update sales plan / Sales calls / Sales Leads etc in CMA Sales system. Assist in payment recoveries if any delays beyond the agreed parameters. Meet and exceed group budget for all trades In & Out - measured by periodical reports. Attend sales, credit review, any & all other meetings as and when requested by Management. Develop and implement sales strategy to grow revenue, select and target prospects new customers. Ensure compliance with the company's Quality policy. Serve as a role model & ensure to always uphold the company's code of ethics as well as display CMACGM spirit in the best interest of the company. Any other duties requested or delegated by the manager to ensure the service level of the company is maintained & perform such task delegated within the given time frame.

Education Bachelor or Master Degree

Experiences

3+ years in the industry and thorough knowledge of company standards

Competencies

Business presentation Face to face selling skills Quality training Negotiation skills Telephone skills CRM and other sales related system training Oman Driver's Licence PC training especially in MS office & Outlook Word & Excel Excellent English communication skills - both written and spoken. Arabic knowledge would be added advantage. Strong networking skills, knowledge of GCC market and balanced scorecard; Good Work ethics to comply with policies and procedures of the company Should have cultural awareness for working with people from various cultures and backgrounds.
