This role involves leading the F&B team, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead the F&B team, providing guidance, training, and support.
Assign duties and responsibilities to team members to ensure smooth operations.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
Guest Service:
Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
Address and resolve guest complaints and issues efficiently.
Maintain a strong presence on the floor, interacting with guests to enhance their dining experience.
Operational Management:
Oversee the setup, operation, and closing procedures of the restaurant.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the dining area.
Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
Order and Inventory Management:
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders, and receiving supplies.
Monitor stock levels and minimize waste.
Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
Ensure team members are knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and promotions.
Provide feedback and coaching to improve performance and service standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including sales, expenses, and guest feedback.
Prepare and submit reports to the F&B Manager as required.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the F&B department.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Two years experience as a waiter
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
