Provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times, following Rixos Standards of Performance.
Be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within different sub-departments of the Food & Beverage Division or any other department of the hotel as assigned.
Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager.
Perform opening and closing procedures established for the place of work as assigned.
Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend food and beverage combinations and upsell alternatives.
Provide a high standard of quality and efficient/friendly service as per Standard Operational Procedures.
Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
Handle guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
Establish a rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationships.
Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
Report guest complaints or problems to Managers if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow-up with guests.
Assist in carrying out monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly inventory of operating equipment.
Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag, maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, and adhering to the hotel and department appearance standards.
Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in food and beverage service, is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in various sub-departments and handle different tasks as assigned.
