Responsible for the scheduling of OT cases as per the hospital guidelines
To ensure that audit programmes are in place and effective and audits/reviews of the departments and their performance are undertaken and action is taken to address any issues raised
To liaise with support team to enable care and treatments to be correctly carried out in accordance with hospital policies, procedure and guidelines
To facilitate and ensure that the reception of patients and their relatives are in a calm, friendly, courteous and reassuring manner
To work with the DA and quality to investigate complaints and/or risks identified and ensure corrective actions are initiated
To maintain effective communication with other departments
To ensure all theatre staff have the necessary competencies and training to use the equipment pertinent to their area of work
To monitor staff rosters to ensure best utilization of the agreed manpower levels while maintaining an appropriate skill mix
To prepare the monthly reports and training reports
To be responsible for Instrumentation control and management
To prevent hospital acquired infections by ensuring that infection control measures are properly applied by all staff
To lead, support and develop the theatre staff, providing managerial leadership, ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of care to patients and staff
To be responsible for ensuring 24-hour cover for the services provided and the skill mix required in UAE, Dubai
To ensure that the OT Case scheduling is managed as per the hospital guidelines.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing / Diploma in Nursing.
5 years clinical experience with minimum of 2 years as OT Coordinator.
