Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthodontist to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in orthodontics, with specific experience in the UAE. A valid Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) license is required. The candidate must currently reside in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Treatment Planning:
• Examine patients to assess dental and jaw development, diagnose orthodontic issues, and determine the appropriate treatment plan.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
Orthodontic Treatment:
• Apply braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances to correct teeth alignment and bite issues.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Provide guidance on oral hygiene and care of orthodontic appliances.
Patient Care:
• Educate patients and their families about orthodontic procedures, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care.
• Address patient concerns and provide support throughout the treatment process.
• Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction through effective communication and compassionate care.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with other dental professionals and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure smooth and efficient treatment delivery.
Compliance and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements, including HAAD guidelines and standards.
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS or DDS).
• Master's degree or specialty certification in Orthodontics.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of orthodontic practice experience, with at least 3 year of experience in the UAE.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthodontic issues.
Licensing and Certification:
• A valid Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) license is mandatory.
• Current residing in the UAE is required.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in orthodontics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate care.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using dental software and technology.
