Job Description

We are looking for a creative video editor to create a story from recorded footage that
matches our vision and is suitable for broadcasting to our audience on all our social
media platforms including Youtube and Instagram.

Responsibilities:
• Edit film pieces (upto 30mins) in a way that is engaging to the audience.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film according to the channel's requirements.
• Familiar with Instagram trending videos (Reels, stories etc) to create similar content.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects in videos ranging from 30seconds to 30 minutes.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running for final content.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Organize all raw and final content in correct manner.

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
• Strong Arabic communication skills (Kuwaiti dialect).
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut).
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Deliver short video productions for social media platforms.
• Creative B-role shots for Instagram.
