Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orion ERP Administrator 11j or other versions to manage and support our Orion ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle database administration, JBoss application server management, and Orion ERP performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Performance Optimization :
• Analyze application hanging issues caused by long-running queries and fine-tune the system.
• Optimize long-running reports as part of daily operations.
• Database Maintenance :
• Analyze database tables and indexes every two months.
• Monitor and address Oracle database errors or bugs from alert log files.
• User & Security Management :
• Perform daily DBA tasks such as user management, performance tuning, security, and monitoring invalids, locks, and sizing.
• Backup & Recovery :
• Design and implement backup strategies.
• Configure retention policies as per organizational requirements.
• UAT Support :
• Provide support and monitoring for the UAT environment.
• Patching & Updates :
• Update Oracle database patches compatible with the Orion application.
• Application Server Management :
• Manage JBoss services required for running the Orion application.
• Identify and fix deadlocks related to JBoss.
• Session Management :
• Identify and terminate orphan sessions affecting application performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Orion ERP Administrator or in a similar ERP environment.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration (monitoring, performance tuning, backup & recovery).
• Experience managing JBoss application servers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize ERP systems and database environments.
• Knowledge of Orion ERP and its architecture is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with application patching and updates.
• Ability to provide detailed health check and performance reports.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
