CorpsAfrica/Maroc in Morocco has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as an Organizational Development Specialist. CorpsAfrica recruits men and women to move to high-poverty communities within their own countries for one year, after successfully completing four weeks of training built around experiential learning to empower and equip Volunteers with the skills and mindsets they will need to be successful at their sites. CorpsAfrica is scaling up and refining its operations in Morocco, and it has identified a need for assistance in organizational development and fine tuning its systems: recruitment of Volunteers, training and supporting Volunteers, monitoring and evaluation, fundraising, and general organizational development.

The PCRV will work with the Director of CorpsAfrica/Maroc and other staff to support organizational development and systems strengthening. The beginning of this assignment will be to collaboratively identify the organization's areas of greatest need at that time and design a plan of action for the PCRV's work. The specific tasks will be chosen based on the evolving needs of CorpsAfrica/Maroc, which could include the volunteer recruitment strategy, the training and support model, monitoring and evaluation of Volunteer projects, and fundraising models.

Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Morocco together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
