The Role
Job Summary: The Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing programs that align workforce with key business strategies and initiatives. This role involves assessing organizational needs, driving change initiatives, and enhancing employee performance through development programs. Key Responsibilities: o Assessing the development needs of all operational, business, and functional units, as well as evaluating and overseeing the implementation of organizational development strategies and processes. o Analyzing business structures, procedures, processes, and the utilization of resources. o Designing and implementing a variety of developmental initiatives, action plans, programs, and training materials, including leadership development, team building, and change management. o Leading the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies customized to fulfill organizational development needs and achieve program objectives. o Conduct organizational assessments to identify development needs. o Analyze data and trends to provide insights for decision-making. o Collaborate with management to diagnose issues and determine areas for improvement. o Develop and implement talent management initiatives such as succession planning and career development. o Create and deliver training programs and workshops. o Lead and support change management initiatives. o Collaborating with other departments to ensure that the organization is aligned with its mission and goals o Develop strategies to manage and sustain organizational change. o Provide coaching and support to leaders and employees during transitions. o Enhance performance management systems and processes. o Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives. o Assist in the design and implementation of competency models. o Serve as an internal consultant to managers and employees on organizational effectiveness and development issues. o Provide coaching and mentoring to leaders and key talent. o Facilitate team development and effectiveness interventions. o Measure the effectiveness of development programs and initiatives. o Prepare reports and presentations for senior management. o Use feedback and data to continuously improve organizational development initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. o Proven experience as an Organizational Development Specialist or similar role. Minimum 5 years of experience in OD. o Experience with change management methodologies o Strong understanding of organizational development theories and practices. o Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Experience in coaching and mentoring leaders. o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. o Advanced proficiency in office and business administration software Preferred: o Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field. o Certification in OD/HR o Familiarity with psychometric tools and assessments. o Multilingual abilities. o Extensive knowledge of skills development and capacity-building strategies.
