An e-picker, also known as an order picker or warehouse picker, plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a warehouse or distribution center - Insta Shop

Job Details:

Position: E-Picker

Job Type: Picking orders for delivery in a hypermarket or large retail store. This typically involves picking items from store shelves based on customer online orders.

Work Hours:

12-hour shifts

1-hour break.

Salary: AED1400 per month + Tips

# Key Responsibilities

1. Order Picking: Retrieve items from shelves, bins, or containers to fulfill customer orders.

2. Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels, report discrepancies, and participate in cycle counting.

3. Warehouse Navigation: Navigate the warehouse efficiently to locate items, using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or pick-to-light systems.

4. Item Verification: Verify items picked against order documents to ensure accuracy.

5. Packaging and Labeling: Prepare items for shipping by packing, labeling, and applying any necessary documentation.

6. Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards.

7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to achieve productivity and efficiency goals.

8. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as scanners, printers, and conveyors, to facilitate order picking and processing.

9. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues with orders, inventory, or equipment, and escalate concerns to supervisors as needed.

10. Adherence to Procedures: Follow established procedures, guidelines, and regulations to ensure compliance and quality.

# Additional Responsibilities

1. Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

2. Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on items picked and report any damages or discrepancies.

3. Data Entry: Enter data into warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software to track inventory, orders, and shipments.

4. Special Projects: Assist with special projects, such as inventory audits, warehouse reorganization, or new equipment implementation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,400.00 per month
