The Retail Application Senior Developer will be focused on the development of new features for the current Oracle Xstore platform.Location: Remote
Contract role starting Mid June and lasting 12+ monthsHe/she has a very strong knowledge of the main core architecture retail solution in the Oracle Xstore spectrum (Xadmin, Xcenter, Xservices, Xenvironment, Xmobile, Relate, Locate) and he/she has a proven experience on developing custom features on this software platform.
He/she has proven experience on different versions of the Xstore platform and he/she is able to adapt and implement solutions that are portable between different versions.
Tthe perfect candidate has also a strong knowledge of integration with API (REST and SOAP) and knowledge of Cloud infrastructures.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the engineering team on the implementation of new features and refactoring of the current Oracle Xstore POS.
- Implement custom code and change the standard behavior of Oracle Xstore POS application following business requirements.
- Be able to
- Quickly learn and evaluate existing infrastructure and Retail Systems\' integration
- Support the engineering team on the integration between Xstore and custom API.
- Write complete, effective and comprehensible documentation
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Xstore Oracle POS, ideally with different versions.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Experience with OMS integrations will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting (Powershell or similar) will be considered a plus.
- Experience in software development on REST and SOAP web services, J2EE, Spring, XML, XPATH, JSON, SQL
- Familiar with other technologies including HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPs, SSH, Tomcat, Jetty, Oracle Database Server.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
