Job Description

Job Summary:The Account Executive role focuses on selling consulting services and building relationships with Oracle Cloud sales, partner management, product and independent software vendors (ISV) teams. This person will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned territory, drive revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop new customers in the Oracle marketplace, with a focus on Oracle Tech Cloud. In addition to driving revenue, this person will assist in the ongoing evolution of our vertical (market) and horizontal (clouds) strategies.Essential Functions:
  • Meet, and hopefully exceed, services booking and revenue quotas
  • Accurately forecast and deliver on sales within a specified MEA territory
  • Forge strong working relationships with Oracle Tech Cloud Executives, sales leadership, and partner management teams
  • Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts
  • Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities
  • Identify/develop key partner strategies for specific customers and market segments, including but not limited to ISV and fellow complementary Systems Integrator (SI) partnerships
  • Provide high content contributions to joint product and consulting opportunities around CloudServ solution areas identified above
  • Communicate effectively at all client levels
  • Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and fit consulting solutions around those specific needs
  • Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close (including RFP responses, proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations)
  • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations
  • Add industry specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business
  • Review master service agreements prior to Legals review to identify gaps or key points of negotiation
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams.
  • Participate on internal projects.
  • Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects.
  • Update CRM systems on a daily/weekly basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:The work environment is remote or on-site at a client/prospect location. While remote, employees are expected to secure office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.Position Type and expected hours of work:Full-time work during business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, is required.
