OverviewFacility overview: M42 in partnering with the UAE Ministry of Defence to operate Zayed Military Hospital (National & Military Screening Service) in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. This collaboration will provide world-class healthcare to over three million residents in the northern UAE, including military personnel and their families. By integrating top healthcare providers like the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Healthpoint, M42 will ensure access to specialized and preventative care. Full-scale operations are set to launch in early 2025.Role overview: This role involves delivering optometric services to patients by performing optometric procedures, as well as prescribing, supplying, and adjusting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids, in accordance with M42 and DOH policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. The incumbent is also responsible for overseeing incoming orders for contact lenses and low vision aids, ensuring their accurate and timely delivery to patients.Responsibilities

Oversees orders for contact lenses and low vision aids to ensure accurate and timely delivery to patients.
Communicates significant assessment findings to the Optometry team and other clinical caregivers.
Prioritizes caseloads according to primary healthcare principles and available resources.
Develops and maintains accurate clinical documentation, ensuring timely completion and comprehensive patient records.
Qualifications
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in optometry an active DOH license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a JCIA environment.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
