Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist with a flair for sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality optometric care to patients, conducting eye exams, and recommending corrective eyewear, while also driving sales and customer satisfaction. This hybrid role requires a combination of technical expertise in optometry with a passion for customer service and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Optometry Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity, eye health, and detect any underlying conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, eyeglasses, and contact lenses based on patients' needs.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to detect common eye conditions (e.g., cataracts, glaucoma, etc.).
• Provide expert advice on vision care, including eye protection, and preventive eye health.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting eye examinations and prescriptions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, referring patients to specialists when necessary.
• Educate patients about the proper use and care of eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Sales Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting eyewear, providing personalized recommendations based on lifestyle and preferences.
• Maintain a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and the latest trends in eyewear to help drive sales.
• Achieve personal and team sales targets by actively engaging with customers and recommending suitable products.
• Ensure store displays are neat, organized, and properly stocked with the latest eyewear collections.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding eyewear products.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, discounts, and special offers to communicate effectively with customers.
• Support in managing inventory, ensuring popular products are always available, and updating stock levels.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

• MOH Optometrsit (Preferred)
