**Job Overview**

To lead the alignment and integration of answer products related to Petrophysics and other relevant domains under the Interpretation and Evaluation Services group. This role is expected to lead the Petrophysics Answer products roadmap by consolidating feedback from customers and driving the required efforts for development and commercialization.

+ Regarded as a fully qualified senior professional with a broad and deep understanding of multiple technical domains. Understand the industry and general business drivers.

+ Contribute mature professional technical knowledge to planning and execution of projects.

+ Receive assigned work in terms of objectives, relative priorities and critical tasks.

+ Make decisions based on industry standards and previous experience whilst following WFRD policy.

+ Assume technical lead for large project teams with responsibility for the timely delivery of high-quality answer products.

+ Assign work within the team and reviews progress and answer products for technical content and accuracy.

+ Develop the competency of junior team members through training, mentoring coaching, and acting as a resource to those team members.

+ Make recommendations on the selection, training, assessment, and discipline of staff.

+ Regularly meets with customers to determine customer challenges and review results of larger projects. May be accompanied by junior team members and / or sales staff.

+ Deliver presentations to senior customer groups for the planning or delivery of large projects. Oversee the presentations of junior team members.

+ Provide technical support and guidance to other professional and technical staff.

+ Participate in formulating technical strategy and planning at a local level.

+ Participate in developing client/product/ research solutions.

+ Contribute to technical publications and/or presentations at professional society conferences.

+ Complete all required HSE and other mandatory training, maintaining an acceptable HSE record.

+ Achieve required competence in Petrophysics.

+ Demonstrate basic awareness of a third relevant technical domain such as: Geology, Reservoir Engineering, Geophysics, Production Engineering.

**Education and Experience**

REQUIRED

+ BSc. in Engineering or Science

+ A minimum of 15 years working within the Oil and Gas industry is preferred, with at least 10 years focused on petrophysical operations and interpretation.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**

REQUIRED

+ Expertise in processing and quality control workflows for wireline tools (e.g., Sonic, NMR, image logs, formation testing& sampling, Spectroscopy) facilitates the successful application of this knowledge on both upcoming wells and historic data. Proficient in conducting fracture analysis utilizing image log interpretation including resistivity and acoustics.

+ Skilled in understanding different logs interpretation techniques , cores analysis, and integrating diverse datasets.

+ Proficient using Techlog with experience in Petrel/RMS/IP/Geolog an added advantage

PREFERRED

+ Previous experience in R&D projects and product development

+ Experience in multiple subsurface domains

+ Post-graduate studies related to Geoscience domains
