The Operations Supervisor will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of all maintenance activities within the organization. This role ensures that the organization's infrastructure, machinery, and equipment are properly maintained, operating efficiently, and compliant with safety and industry standards. The Operations Supervisor collaborates closely with other departments to optimize operational performance, reduce downtime, and improve overall efficiency. The role involves strategic leadership, resource management, and continuous improvement to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operations Management
• Regular Site visits to ensure smooth functioning of the maintenance services
• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
• Monitor the operational performance of maintenance teams and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to minimize operational disruptions and optimize equipment availability.
• Oversee asset management, ensuring all equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
• Ensure the operational efficiency of maintenance activities, focusing on reducing downtime and improving equipment performance.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials, ensuring optimal stock levels without over expenditure.
• Collaborate with external contractors and service providers to ensure that outsourced maintenance work meets organizational standards.
Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, and technicians, promoting a high-performance culture.
• Provide guidance and support in troubleshooting complex equipment issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Develop training programs for maintenance personnel to ensure up-to-date technical skills and compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage the team schedules and tool disbursements
• Manage employee grievances in line with company policies
Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure all maintenance activities are compliant with local, national, and industry-specific safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure proper training for maintenance staff on safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents or equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Educational Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in maintenance operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• UAE Driver's License is a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
