Job Description

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within their assigned area or department. This role involves managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and meeting production or service goals. The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in improving processes, troubleshooting issues, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, coordinates and manages operations across a number of disciplines. Ensures operational success, quality and efficient working. Creates integrated processes among internal functions and external suppliers. Occasionally, the Operations Supervisor may also be asked to carry out activities related to new systems or processes that arise from local or global strategies.

The Operations Supervisor will need to engage proactively with the operations and project teams. This includes advising Project Managers on the current status of operation requests made within the project, as well as any delays or issues that may arise. The role also requires close collaboration with other Fugro Opcos to assess and coordinate the project requirements

The Operations Supervisor will have the following responsibilities : . Coordinates offshore and/or onshore projects on a day-to-day basis; . Ensuring timely preparation and smooth running and completion of project tasks; . Ensuring both technical and commercial requirements and scope of work are understood; . Supervises a team in a variety of routine tasks and provides on-the-job training; . Assisting the Project manager in permitting of survey vessels to work in oil fields for the projects; . Resource planning and coordination with Procurement for Third Party Hire; . Maintaining Shallow Water Fleet certification; . Monitor Contingent Worker Matrix; . Ensure optimal deployment of people, locations, and assets; . Coordinate activities with other geographies and other service lines for expertise; . Provide professionalism, effectiveness and efficiency by delivering bottom line cost savings; . Identify cost reduction opportunities, and partnerships to bring more value to the business; . Actively reinforce general and legal compliance and requirements regarding quality, health, safety, sustainability and environment ("QHSSE") within the role.

Experience, Knowledge & other requirements : . Operational Management :3 to 8 years of supervisory experience. . Education : Bachelor's Degree. . Industry Knowledge : Understanding of operational dynamics within the marine industry in Qatar. . Communication : Strong verbal and communication skills. . Driving License : Must hold a valid Qatari Driving License. . NOC : Must possess a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for sponsorship transfer. . Availavility : Ready to start immediately.
