Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our body shop operations. The ideal candidate will assist in managing workflows, coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring operational efficiency in paint jobs and all body shop-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day body shop operations, ensuring tasks such as paint jobs and related work are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering paint supplies and ensuring timely restocking.
• Coordinate with the Body Shop team to maintain seamless operations and effective communication.
• Oversee job card creation and ensure accurate tracking of all body shop services performed.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents related to body shop operations.
• Support in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely updates on project statuses and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop.
• Provide administrative support to the operations manager and other team members as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an operations role within the automotive or body shop industry.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with operations software/tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of body shop services or paint operations is a plus.
