Antal is collaborating with a dynamic local UAE company renowned for its focus on lifestyle products, currently boasting over 100 stores across the Middle East and Africa (MENA region). It has emerged as one of the most successful business entities in the retail industry within the region. Presently, they are seeking a qualified Operations Manager based in Dubai to manage their retail operations.Key Responsibilities
Prepare and participate in sales budget preparation.
Increase sales and profitability of UAE stores.
Achieve productivity targets (sales per sqft, ATV, Conversion).
Develop and implement retail strategies with the Concept Head.
Manage costs within budgetary guidelines.
Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
Ensure effective stock and space management.
Conduct SWOT analysis to understand customer profiles.
Provide monthly feedback on competitor and event activities.
Oversee effective inventory and warehouse management.
Analyze and manage stock and sales reports.
Ensure merchandise pricing aligns with norms and matrix formats.
Provide monthly feedback on sales, stock, and product positions.
Manage new projects and ensure timely implementation.
Ensure adherence to company policies, state laws, and health standards.
Maintain company image and dress code in stores.
Plan, execute, and maintain store sales promotions.
Manage and support team recruitment.
Confirm monthly payroll for sales staff and managers.
Ensure skill development of showroom staff through training.
Monitor and appraise staff performance, developing career plans.
Set and appraise key result areas (KRAs) for direct reports.
Coordinate new store setups
We\'re looking for you if you:
Minimum of 10 years in retail and trade marketing, preferably in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG.
At least 5 years in managing retail operations, customer service, sales, employee management, stock accuracy, and inventory control.
University degree in business (ideally with marketing and sales focus)
Strong understanding of P&L and budget management.
Flexible in response to the changing retail environment.
Ability to develop strategies to enhance market/store performance.
Advanced literacy and IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and use of Retail systems.
Mobility with UAE driving license and own car or ability to obtain both
Fluent in English; local language is an advantage.
