We are hiring an Operations Manager to manage a site based Operations team providing maximum availability of equipment at all times being maintained and serviced in line with Aggreko policies and procedures, and to provide a first class service to all customers. From project award through the perations phase to demobilisation ensuring the projects are delivered, operated and resourced inline with budgeted forecasts.

What you'll do:
Maintain continues power production to the end user by ensuring all Aggreko assets are available at all times.
Manage project operational expenditure inline with pre-determined project cost allocation.
Proactively manage manpower planning to ensure maximum productivity is achieved with the resources available throughout all the project sites.
Manage the execution of regular maintenance and servicing of all equipment in accordance with Aggreko service procedures.
Complete site Global audits across assigned project locations to ensure continuity as per company policies and procedures.
Aggreko standards which encompasses - Fleet Performance, QHSE, Reliability, Audits but not limited to.
Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports for site operational activities, detailing power production, completion etc as per contractual requirements and commitments.
Identify common repeat failures on equipment to prevent reoccurrence using available data and resources and communicate to Area Operations Manager where unable to resolve for additional Engineering assistance.
Ensure that the commissioning & decommissioning of sites are following Aggreko standards and BOP's.
Demonstrate adherence to ERP inventory level defined for the projects.
React effectively to technical support of site equipment breakdowns in timely manner in and out of working hours when required.
Act as a single point of contact for the duration of the project, effectively managing and clearly communicating project expectations to all relevant stakeholders.
Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential project issues & crisis and devise mitigation or contingency plans in coordination with relevant departments involved.
Commitment to and involvement in the implementation of Aggreko on-site OPOS II & TPM initiatives.
Conduct induction, performance appraisal, development and training of direct reports.
Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities.

You'll have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent qualifications
Minimum Five years of experience in Power generation or other related fields
Holding managerial role for the last 2-3 years
Has extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical or electrical field or both
Availability to travel as and when required
Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
