Operations Manager - Learning & Development | Automotive | Talent Center
Overview of the role
To effectively manage team of training operations in Al-Futtaim Automotive Talent Centre, managing the day-to-day operations including facility management. Liaise between L&D, Finance Department, EIT, HR business partners and the Stakeholders to ensure the L&D function is aligned and performing to the Talent Centre\xe2\x80\x99s Business Model objectives. Provide recommendations to achieve these objectives included changes in workflows, multiple sourcing scenarios and tools, such as automating the project inventory process which is a leading indicator of project health throughout the learning project lifecycle.
What you will do
Manage the Talent Centre Operational Budgets, cost controls and generate Metrics/Dashboards to stakeholders and Talent Centre GM
Generate relevant financial information for the business units
Define and steer subsequent improvement projects
Maintain the daily training activities are charged back to the business to ensure net zero balance in Talent Centre cost centres
Manage Vendors efficiently
Ensure accurate and timely accounting of all financial transactions which will culminate in the production of various financial records
Review and respond to all Audit queries
Quality and completion of year end pack on time and coordination with the external and internal audits for the completion
Manage and Maintain world class facility standards of the Talent Centre by effectively managing the 5S standards for great customer engagement experience in both UAE and overseas
Maintain Talent Centre\xe2\x80\x99s world class and brand QHSE Standards in Talent Centre\xe2\x80\x99s product and services to meet the ISO requirements
Oversee the training plans and schedules
Effectively work with the respective training manager/stakeholders in scheduling, planning and communicating the Training Planner for Generic, Brand Specific and Overseas Training
Manage all the communications for the Talent Centre in terms of email training announcements, quarterly newsletter, and intranet updates, Talent Centre\xe2\x80\x99s intranet portal etc
Manage a needs Validation process and act as the interface between the Talent Centre and the business ensuring all needs are defined and responded to in an appropriate manner
Ensure QHSE Management Systems requirement and procedures are implemented for all Talent Centre Operations
Maintain IMI Centre documentation and update annually
Manage all Talent Centre projects to ensure the Talent Centre is positioned as Centre of excellence
Integrate data from 3rd party e-learning suppliers and principles into the LMS is curriculum
Integrate learning records with SAP to ensure IDPs and learning activities are updated
Design automotive overseas business strategy for accessing training online and tracking activities through an e-commerce solution
Review and develop strategies around quality and compliance
Manage relationships between the supplier and EIT
