Responsibilities Our newest opportunity is for a talented Operations Manager (Landfills) to join our award-winning team based in Jeddah, KSA.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the operations, management, and maintenance of landfill sites within the cleaning and waste management projects in Jeddah Governorate. This role involves ensuring that landfill operations are efficient, environmentally compliant, and aligned with sustainability goals.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that landfill activities meet project objectives and regulatory standards.

We envisage success in this role to include: Managing and overseeing the daily operations of landfill sites, ensuring compliance with local environmental regulations and project-specific requirements. Developing and implementing operational strategies for landfill management, including waste disposal, treatment, and resource recovery. Monitoring landfill performance, safety, and environmental impact, conducting regular site inspections. Coordinating with contractors, waste management teams, and local authorities to ensure efficient and compliant landfill operations. Ensuring that all landfill activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards. Preparing detailed reports on landfill operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for waste management and environmental protection. Providing recommendations for improving landfill operations and achieving sustainability goals, including waste reduction and recycling initiatives. Staying updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to landfill management. Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5+ years of experience in landfill operations or waste management, preferably in public infrastructure or environmental projects, partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Waste Management, or a related field.

Furthermore, you should demonstrate: Strong knowledge of landfill management practices, environmental regulations, and waste disposal technologies. Experience in managing large-scale landfill operations and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. Familiarity with landfill monitoring systems, waste-to-energy technologies, and sustainability practices. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills in both English and Arabic. Certification in waste management or landfill operations (e.g., SWANA, ISO 14001) is an advantage. Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
