Designation: Operations Manager- HR, Accounting & Purchasing (Construction Industry)

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction is looking for a remarkably talented Operations Managerto join our team! The position is responsible for overseeing all accounting, human resources, payroll, and purchasing functions while managing the daily operations of the company and its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial & Purchasing

• Perform financial statement preparation, journal entries, and month-end closing.
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial data analysis, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Responsible for purchasing of construction materials (e.g Equipment and machineries, etc..)
• Strong Vendor Management and contract negotiation skills
• Liaise with auditors and assist in annual audits.
• Monitor office supplies procurement and inventory management.
• Develop and effectively manage budget for Administration Dept.

2. HR Management

• Well-versed with the UAE Labour Law
• Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to management and staff on HR-related matters.
• Strong HR experience and expertise to enhance employee satisfaction and execute activities in accordance with the company objectives.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements
• Support employee evaluation processes and reporting to Management.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Ensure Employee Salaries and reimbursements are completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Should demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with databases, financial data entry, and payroll.
• Effective in both written and verbal communication. Able to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Must have worked within the GCC
• Experience working on civil high-rise/building projects
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience with contractors.
• Proven experience in HR management and administrative functions within the construction industry.
