The Role
Guildhall is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our client\'s team. A startup property management firm specializing in short-term rentals, our client is seeking a leader who can ensure the smooth operation of their holiday homes, foster positive guest experiences, and drive business development initiatives. Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Empower team members to take ownership of their roles and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and support to team members. Guest Relations: \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee all aspects of guest relations, including check-in/check-out procedures, responding to guest inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a memorable and positive guest experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty, including personalized guest communication and relationship-building initiatives. Business Development: \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive business development efforts to expand our holiday homes portfolio and maximize revenue opportunities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance our market presence and drive business growth. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making. Listing Management and Platform Expertise: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage property listings across various platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimization to drive bookings and revenue. \xe2\x80\xa2 Serve as an expert in the platforms utilized for holiday homes, staying updated on new features and best practices to maximize listing visibility and performance.Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or vacation rental industry, with a strong emphasis on operations management and guest relations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, team members, and external partners. Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of driving business development initiatives and achieving results. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in property management software and online booking platforms. \xe2\x80\xa2 Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.
