Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Operations Manager with in-depth knowledge and experience in the furniture and home decor business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing all aspects of a business, including micro-management, e-commerce, offline retail operations, and B2B dealings. This role demands an individual who is capable of independently managing the entire spectrum of operations while ensuring business growth and efficiency. A UAE driving license is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Operations Management
• Oversee day-to-day operations across all channels: e-commerce, offline retail stores, and B2B.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet business objectives and enhance profitability.
• Streamline processes to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
• Monitor inventory management, procurement, and supply chain processes.
• Supervise and monitor warehouse team and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
• Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to drive traffic, improve conversion rates, and enhance the user experience.
• Analyze online sales metrics and develop strategies to improve performance.
• Set and monitor e-commerce sales targets and ensure they are achieved.
2. Offline Retail & B2B Management
• Supervise and ensure the efficient functioning of offline retail stores.
• Monitor store performance and follow up on sales targets to drive growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with key B2B clients to secure long-term partnerships.
• Manage showroom displays and ensure alignment with brand standards.
3. Sales Promotion and Marketing
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to boost sales across all channels.
• Create sales promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs to attract and retain customers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align branding and promotional activities with business objectives.
• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies to optimize results.
4. Team Leadership
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and team-building activities.
• Address operational issues promptly and efficiently.
5. Micro-Management
• Be involved in detailed aspects of the business, ensuring every task is executed to perfection.
• Handle critical issues related to customer service, logistics, and vendor relationships personally.
6. Financial Oversight
• Monitor and control operational budgets to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
• Analyze financial reports to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
7. Compliance and Standards
• Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and company policies.
• Maintain high standards of quality and customer service across all business channels.
Key Requirements:
• Sector Experience: Furniture sector experienced ONLY.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the furniture and home decor business, including both online and offline channels.
• Skills:
• Strong operational management and organizational skills.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and retail store operations.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills for B2B dealings.
• Proficiency in marketing strategies and sales promotions to drive revenue growth.
• Ability to micro-manage and pay attention to the smallest details.
• Experience in monitoring warehouse teams and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP tools, and analytics platforms.
• Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
