Key Responsibilities:

Unit Operation Management and Planning

P&L owner to manage entire operations of Dubai Unit across all departments.

Ensure systems are in place to monitor and evaluate performance against service objectives.

Prepare and annually update service development plans.

Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and

making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team's performance and service

expansion

Responsible for the development and implementation of clinical and non-clinical policies, guided by professional and clinical standards.

Establish systems and processes to ensure the development and implementation of effective recruitment/retention strategies for all disciplines, to ensure that staff with the right skills are in the right roles.

Direct, lead and motivate the teams to ensure a high standard of professionalism, efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation in the delivery of patient care.

Financial Management

Manage service budgets on behalf of the Director and keep a watchful eye on expenditure.

Through preparation and submission of regular development plans, ensure the services

receive an appropriate and equitable allocation of resources.

Understand and report on the financial implications of contract and legislation changes.

Monitor cash-flow, prepare forecasts and reports

Monitor and reconcile income and expenditure statements

Ensure daily MIS reporting for management meetings.

Human Resources

Monitor skill-mix and deployment of staff

Develop and implement effective staff appraisal and monitoring systems

Support and mentor staff, both as individuals and as team members

Liaise with employees and other relevant parties regarding effective systems for the

Business Growth

Achieves budgeted volume goals for the average daily census (ADC) of patient numbers across various services

Builds market position by identifying, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.

Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.

Tracks individual contributors and their accomplishments.

Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.

Discovers and explores business opportunities.

Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.

Evaluates options and resolving internal priorities.

Examines risks and potentials for business opportunities.

Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.

Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Enhances the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Essential:

Healthcare Industry Experience of 5+ years

Previous experience in managing clinical services.

Competent in the use of IT systems (Microsoft Office, HIS, HRMS, Salesforce, CRMS)

Clinical governance / Quality management

Skilled in:

Knowledge of healthcare and clinical terminology

Organizational management

Problem-solving

Leadership

Personnel & performance management

Desirable:

Formal management qualification

Financial management

Project management

Performance/contract management

Change/systems management

Presentation skills

Understanding of DHA and DED rules and regulations.
