Experience: 7 years of experience in Drinking water background

Language Known :- English

DUTIES:

• Assists in planning, organizing, and directing water treatment and laboratory operations.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate personnel.
• Recommend and implement division goals and objectives, establish operational standards and methods for water treatment operations, develops and implements related policies and procedures for operational improvement.
• Initiates and directs special studies and investigations to improve and maintain water treatment and production performance.
• Prepares division annual budget request, estimate equipment and supply needs based on trends and planned activities, monitors expenditures, provides capital improvement project guidance and cost control.
• Review and/or upgrade staff training programs to ensure acquisition of technical skills.
• Coordinate upgrades, major modifications, and repairs of water treatment and storage facilities with Facility Maintenance division.
• Monitor department compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, manage the water treatment and distribution systems regulatory compliance program, enforce County policies and procedures.
• Oversee the preparation of required documentation and permit applications, submitting required reports, responding to regulatory actions and ensuring completion of follow-up measures, as needed.
• Represents the County at water industry and Water Professionals, school classes, and civic groups.
• Handles customer complaints and inquiries.
• Serves on various committees as representation of the department.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

• Knowledge of standard management and supervisory practices.
• Knowledge of the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Department of Natural Resources Drinking Water Act.
• Knowledge of current water treatment rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of water chemistry and microbiology.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Knowledge of computers and job related software programs.
• Knowledge of county projects, regional water plans, and zoning and development regulations.
• Skill in the development and management of annual budgets.
• Skill in public and interpersonal relations.

Salary: AED: 10000 to AED: 15000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
