About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our travel company. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of trip planning, logistics, and customer service, ensuring that our clients have unforgettable travel experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Manage travel operations:
• Oversee the booking process for flights, accommodations, tours, and activities.
• Liaise with vendors and partners to negotiate contracts and ensure service quality.
• Manage documentation and paperwork for visas, travel insurance, and other logistical requirements.
• Coordinate airport transfers, transportation arrangements, and itinerary logistics.
• Customer service:
• Respond to customer inquiries and address any concerns before, during, and after their trip.
• Handle complaints and problem-solve effectively to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
• Team management:
• Lead and supervise the operations team, including reservations agents, tour guides, and customer service representatives.
• Conduct training and development programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Motivate and empower the team to achieve operational excellence.
• Performance and data analysis:
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as booking volumes, customer satisfaction scores, and operational efficiency metrics.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Technology and innovation:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest travel technology and software solutions.
• Identify and implement technology tools to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
• Manage the company's booking system and ensure its smooth operation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in travel operations management, preferably in a tour operator or travel agency or corporate travel companies' environment.
• Proven track record of success in managing teams, meeting deadlines, and exceeding customer expectations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in travel booking systems and relevant software applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for travel and a deep understanding of the travel industry.
• Experience of Managing branches.
• International Experience.
