This role involves managing daily operations, improving performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance. The Operations Manager is also responsible for managing teams, optimizing operational processes, and supporting the company's strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in meeting company goals.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of various processes and workflows.
Team Leadership:
Manage and lead operational teams, providing guidance, training, and support.
Conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Facilitate communication and coordination between departments.
Strategic Planning:
Work with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in operational processes.
Assist in the development of long-term operational strategies.
Resource Management:
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial resources to ensure efficient use of company assets.
Oversee the procurement of materials and resources, maintaining cost-efficiency.
Ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Implement and oversee health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Customer Focus:
Ensure that customer requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Address customer issues and complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Maintain and improve customer service standards.
Quality Control:
Implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of production.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met.
Oversee the resolution of operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven experience in managing budgets, resources, and operational teams.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
