Implement robust risk control systems aligned with Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) safety policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Demonstrate unwavering commitment to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), hygiene, and food safety to uphold the highest standards and ensure regulatory compliance. Enhance staff competency in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), hygiene, and food safety through comprehensive training and continuous development to ensure a knowledgeable and compliant workforce. Foster a culture of unity and diversity, empowering staff with clear delegation of authority and rewarding high performance to drive team morale and efficiency. Lead project groups and engage all staff in achieving desired changes and high service standards by effectively understanding and applying business procedures, policies, and guidelines. Optimize resource utilization by analysing and implementing corrective measures to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources. Manage tangible and intangible wastes in business processes meticulously to achieve profitability goals and enhance operational efficiency. Analyse store reports and implement strategic corrective actions to maintain optimal inventory levels, manage staff costs, and ensure financial efficiency. Develop strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders, critically analysing feedback and non-conformance reports (NCR) to implement corrective actions and continuously improve service quality.Qualification: Bachelor*s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent qualification.Charted Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) preferred.Experience & Knowledge: Minimum 7 years* experience managing and operational experience in managing Airline galley requirement stores and equipment.Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) software to streamline operations and improve efficiency.Previous experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) is highly desirable, with a proven ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all organisational levels.Proficiency in demand planning and forecasting to ensure accurate inventory levels and meet customer demands.Demonstrated expertise in warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping processes.This job has been sourced from an external job board.
