Job Description

A leading trading company for Volvo and Scania commercial vehicle replacement spare parts in Dubai is looking for an Operations Head who will cater to the below requirement.

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly diligent Operations Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and oversee our organization's operations, manages the inventory, oversee the entire sales operations with increasing sales and solidifying their business position in the market.
• Supervise the department and ensure that its goals are aligned with overall business objectives.
• The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting, and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing operations of all branches (Shop-DXB, Shop-SHJ, Hardware & Other Trading Branches).

Formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material, managing resources, and overseeing day to day administration responsibilities.

Developing and implementing supply chain strategies for each branch, focusing on optimization and efficiency improvements in procurement, inventory management, and distribution.

Spearheading initiatives for continuous improvement in supply chain processes, aiming for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.

Integrating advanced supply chain management tools and techniques to enhance operational efficiency across all branches.

Inventory management imports parts and negotiates prices as per market demands and customer needs and oversees warehouse efficiency.

Leading the product development process, from identifying market gaps to conceptualizing new product lines specifically for truck and bus parts.

Conducting competitive analysis to understand market trends and position new products effectively in the market.

Setting and managing product development timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely market entry.

Maintain stock of all materials, especially of SLP as we are sole agents in U.A.E.

Leading brand development initiatives, creating strategies to strengthen the brand's market presence and customer engagement.

Collaborating with the marketing department to align product development with branding and marketing strategies.

Make sure import orders are sent in the correct manner and shipments are received without delays.

Maintaining an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product/trends.

Researching, identifying, and authenticating collectible trading cards by assessing the condition and quality of the item using established standards.

Assess new opportunities to find new suppliers.

Maintain healthy correspondence of our suppliers whilst maintaining supplier satisfaction and build relationships with preferred customers.

Answering supplier or customer complaints and resolving problems.

Delegating, assigning responsibilities, and effectively managing subordinates.

Conduct monthly sales & purchase meeting.

Work with sales team to set goals, as well as for outstanding payments, availability of parts, clear all DO's, local purchases etc.

Overview Procurement & Accounts of the company

Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning and logistics.

Overview marketing plans for all trading branches.

Initiating and overseeing market research to inform product development and branding strategies.

Make sure to do the most desirable CRM execution to boost sales.

Work towards getting new customers through sales team support.

Assist HR with recruiting, when necessary, train and supervise staff.

Maintain healthy cash flow, examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.

Work closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative and compliance functions are being properly executed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business management or its equivalent.

• Minimum of 10 years in the Volvo and Scania commercial vehicle replacement parts market or relevant experience. •

Good knowledge of different business functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
