We are looking for an Operations Executive for our Homecare division, dedicated to ensuring top-tier, compassionate, and individualized care for resident patients. The ideal candidate will act as the main point of contact between residents and their families, overseeing patient care plans, coordinating with medical staff, and upholding regulatory standards. This role demands a hands-on approach to managing nursing staff, addressing procedural issues, and ensuring that all aspects of care meet both federal and state regulations as well as company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resident Health Management:
• Maintain and restore the health of resident patients through high-quality care.
• Act as the primary contact between residents and their families, addressing and preventing concerns.
• Patient Care Planning:
• Assist in the development, implementation, and adjustment of patient care plans.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physicians to review and update care plans regularly.
• Staff Supervision and Development:
• Supervise, counsel, and discipline nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Ensure staff adhere to company policies, federal, and state regulatory standards.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure unit meets all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct audits on care plans, charting, medical forms, and other administrative records to uphold standards.
• Hands-on Care and Administrative Support:
• Deliver hands-on care and distribute medicine as needed.
• Complete admissions, discharge assessments, and oversee chart evaluations and updates.
• Problem Identification and Resolution:
• Identify procedural issues and work with the Nursing Supervisor to implement solutions.
• Prioritize and address the unique care needs of each resident, ensuring a responsive and tailored approach to health management.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in healthcare operations, preferably in a homecare or residential care setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards and procedures.
• Ability to conduct audits and manage administrative tasks related to patient care.
