We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive to join our e-commerce team. The Operations Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations across various aspects of the e-commerce business, including order processing, inventory management, vendor coordination, and customer service. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Order Processing
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of customer orders.
Ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently and according to company standards.
Monitor order status and address any issues or delays promptly.
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and optimize stock levels.
Customer Service:
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, and products.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Collaborate with the customer service team to address common issues and improve processes.
Logistics and Shipping:
Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of orders.
Monitor shipping activities and address any delays or issues that may arise.
Optimize shipping processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics such as order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.
Use data insights to develop strategies for optimizing operations and enhancing the customer experience.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in e-commerce operations, preferably in a similar role (shopify, Unicommerce )
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and order management systems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including customer service, marketing, and finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with inventory management software.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Prior experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
