The GPS Operations Executive is responsible for managing the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of GPS tracking systems. The role involves ensuring optimal system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to users. The executive will work closely with fleet managers, logistics teams, and customers to enhance operational efficiency through the use of GPS technology.
1. •Fleet Management and Coordination:•
- Overseeing and managing GPS tracking for fleets of vehicles.
- Ensuring that vehicles are equipped with the latest GPS technology.
- Monitoring fleet activity and providing real-time support and troubleshooting.
2. •Installation and Maintenance Support:•
- Coordinating the installation of GPS devices in vehicles or assets.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of GPS hardware and software.
- Managing service contracts and coordinating repairs and maintenance when needed.
3. •Data Analysis and Reporting:•
- Analyzing data from GPS systems to track performance, efficiency, and usage patterns.
- Preparing regular reports for internal teams or clients regarding fleet performance, fuel usage, and route optimization.
- Identifying inefficiencies or areas of improvement based on GPS data.
4. •Customer Support and Service:•
- Acting as the point of contact for customer inquiries or complaints regarding GPS tracking systems.
- Providing technical support or coordinating with technical teams to resolve issues.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving any operational issues quickly.
5. •Inventory and Logistics Management:•
- Managing inventory of GPS devices and related equipment.
- Overseeing the logistics of delivery and installation of GPS systems.
- Ensuring that devices and components are stored and distributed efficiently.
6. •Vendor and Supplier Coordination:•
- Managing relationships with suppliers or third-party vendors who provide hardware or software for GPS systems.
- Ensuring timely procurement and stock management of materials necessary for GPS operations.
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
7. •Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:•
- Ensuring that GPS systems and operations comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Keeping up-to-date with any regulatory changes in the transportation or logistics sectors in Dubai and the UAE.
8. •Operational Efficiency:•
- Implementing best practices for improving the efficiency of the operations team.
- Working with management to optimize processes related to the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of GPS systems.
- Driving cost-effective operational strategies.
9. •Project Management:•
- Leading or supporting projects related to GPS technology or fleet management systems.
- Coordinating resources, timelines, and deliverables for specific GPS-related projects.
10. •Sales and Business Development Support:•
- Supporting the sales team by providing operational insights during client negotiations.
- Ensuring that operational requirements are met in the onboarding of new clients.
- Assisting with the setup and configuration of GPS solutions for new clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
