AYR Shipping Lines Agents is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing essential operations within our shipping and freight forwarding activities. Your expertise in documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance will ensure the smooth flow of operations and contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Documentation : Manage and prepare all necessary shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Customs Clearance : Facilitate customs clearance processes for shipments, ensuring timely release and adherence to legal requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance : Stay updated on relevant shipping regulations and customs laws, ensuring that all operations align with regulatory standards.
• Coordination : Collaborate effectively with shipping lines, customers, and customs officials to resolve any issues and ensure smooth communication throughout the shipment process.
• Site Visits : Conduct visits to customs offices, warehouses, and shipping docks to oversee the release of containers and address any operational challenges directly.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations within the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, documentation, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
