Key Accountabilities:
Planning and Control:
\xe2\x96\xaa Participate in setting company strategies and develop operating plans
\xe2\x96\xaa Set, monitor and control operating budget
\xe2\x96\xaa Setting business KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, reporting system and managing business review procedures
System Development:
\xe2\x96\xaa Develop operations department structure and control the selection/hiring process for new team members according to approved budget and organization human resources plan
\xe2\x96\xaa Ensure operating policies, procedures and business processes are in place
and are compliant and aligned with industry standards and ISO.
\xe2\x96\xaa Continual analysis and improvement of company systems to ensure higher operation effectiveness and cost efficiency
\xe2\x96\xaa Set the operations service delivery model, authority, communication and reporting matrix
\xe2\x96\xaa Act as asset owner to ensure the achievement of the targeted/planned
return on investment
Business Development:
\xe2\x96\xaa Develop company marketing strategy and plan
\xe2\x96\xaa Guide the development of company marketing kit and relevant tools
\xe2\x96\xaa Develop marketing and sales process and tools as well as service pricing system
\xe2\x96\xaa Generate business leads to grow company market share
\xe2\x96\xaa Manage the selling process and develop transportation service delivery model per new account
\xe2\x96\xaa Manage customer\xe2\x80\x99 account to ensure fulfilling contractual agreements,
achieving customer satisfaction and drive to business growth vertically within existing accounts
Team Management:
\xe2\x96\xaa Participate in setting KPIs and incentive program for the team and appraising performance on periodical basis, to ensure linking the team compensation with their performance in accordance with the company budget
\xe2\x96\xaa Maintain a periodical flow of review meetings with the team members to confirm strategy compliance and discussing performance and achievements
Compliance:
\xe2\x96\xaa Ensure operating in compliance with the company and accounts\xe2\x80\x99 Health and Safety standards
\xe2\x96\xaa Review the monthly audit reports received from the audit team on operations department and follow up the implementation of corrective/preventive actions
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position * Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Outstanding communication and people skills
Knowledge of industry\xe2\x80\x99s legal rules and guidelines
In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
