Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Operations to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our company's oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of progressive experience in the industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. As Director of Operations, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring the successful execution of complex projects, and optimizing business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy: Lead and manage the operational teams, developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the safe and efficient delivery of oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and budgetary constraints.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Performance Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, identifying areas for process optimization and enhancing overall performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, clients, and stakeholders to align operational goals with corporate objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success while minimizing disruptions.
• Mentorship and Development: Foster a culture of excellence through coaching, mentoring, and development of junior leaders within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) from an accredited institution.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is a distinct advantage.
• Experience:
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects in a leadership capacity.
• Strong background in operations management, budgeting, and performance optimization.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of oil and gas construction, maintenance and repair operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the oil and gas industry, including regulatory and safety standards.
• Ability to manage large teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Expertise in risk management and operational strategy development.
