Job Summary:
The Operations and HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing both the day-to-day operations of the company's logistics functions and handling human resources tasks such as recruitment, training, and employee welfare. This role requires a proactive and versatile leader with a strong understanding of logistics operations, HR best practices, and the ability to work cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Operations Management:
• Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery to clients.
• Coordinate the transportation, warehousing, and inventory management functions.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, clients, and third-party vendors.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise, making recommendations for process improvements.
HR Management:
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts for new hires, ensuring the team has the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
• Develop and implement employee development programs to ensure continued growth and retention.
• Manage performance appraisals, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
• Monitor and maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Develop and enforce company policies related to employee conduct, attendance, and safety.
• Ensure employee well-being by implementing initiatives for a positive work culture and work-life balance.
Experience :
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and HR management, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Proven track record in managing both operations and human resources functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics management processes, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Experience with HR processes including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
