The Role
You will be helping the Head of Operational Risk Management ensure they are identifying, managing and mitigating risks that arise from internal processes, people, systems and external events. This role will support the Head of Operational Risk build, develop and implement the firms risk infrastructure.
AED 30,000 -40,000 salary, bonus, plus company benefits

The Role
You will be helping the Head of Operational Risk Management ensure they are identifying, managing and mitigating risks that arise from internal processes, people, systems and external events. This role will support the Head of Operational Risk build, develop and implement the firms risk infrastructure.
- Help develop Operational risk management framework and internal controls (policies, procedures, IT systems) and ensure building an infrastructure to measure, monitor, and control risks
- Gather and produce operational risk-related data and conduct statistical analyses to identify and quantify risks and help develop and improve the KRI and KCI across the business.
- Support the functions on the completion of Risk & Control Assessments, thematic reviews and scenario analysis exercises.
- Investigate the root causes of operational risk incidents and assist in the development and completion of risk mitigation strategies
- Help manage the Operational Risk Register to ensure better prediction and management of potential risks
- Stay abreast of all operational risk management and industry trends and provide suggestions on innovative systems to leverage practices within the Group
- 6+ years working in banking or financial companies with experience in Front or Back Office operations or in a Technology related role.
- Hands on knowledge and experience in 1st line risk and controls management and/or 2nd Line risk oversight with the ability to help define and support KRI and KCI a plus.
- Experience in the technology of setting risk management systems
- Strong understanding of processes, procedures and controls within financial services
