dnata Catering and Retail is one of the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading inflight hospitality providers, delivering world-class culinary services and innovative products that enhance our passengers\xe2\x80\x99 experience.As an Operational Performance & Planning Manager, you will support the big transformation in Operational Performance Journey to deliver the MTP and budget goals; you will identify, develop, implement and review business process improvements across assigned business areas, to achieve strategic and operational objectives through effective delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and through efficiency projects as required.In this role, you will
  • Review, develop and deliver business improvement process to align with industry best practice to enhance the operational effectiveness and measure the success by a data driven approach and measure the success by a data driven approach.
  • Explore avenues of cost control, improvement in efficiency and an increase in productivity across operational areas of the business whilst providing evidence based research to support initiative proposals to higher management.
  • Be responsible for the identification and the relevant action of cross-departmental, strategic and productivity improvements including but not limited to resource and equipment planning, financial analysis, long-term planning, and other related issues.
  • Drive innovative solutions through the business improvement program by planning, coordinating and monitoring initiatives within the business. Stay up-to-date of new developments in business process improvement methodology and best practices in the industry.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery leadership team on process improvement opportunities, providing operational and strategic business and planning workshops to impart process improvement techniques and to ensure improvement action plans are followed.
  • Maintain, update and monitor project plans, accounting for changing requirements from the business. Be responsible for the completion of financially sound business cases and recommendations based on project proposals.
  • Develop an understanding of the business process for the various functional business areas and provide direction, and support to the teams created within the business unit to tangibly deliver business improvement initiatives.
  • Be accountable for providing support to management in discussion with with liaison of key stakeholders for the corporate initiatives, and in sharing learnings, maintain networks and exchanging information regarding the cost saving strategies being deployed within the business.
  • Review and revise business processes, to clearly reflect any new working methods; Influence and interact with process owners, department heads and corporate functions to effectively implement redesigned processes, and make recommendations for long and/or short-term benefits.
  • Conduct project/process audits to ensure the identified changes have been effectively implemented; Ensure benefits for every improvement programs are fully maximized and that all business improvement objectives are achieved in relation to financial and qualitative deliverables.
  • Support dnata catering & retail global businesses with the change management process in order to ensure a smooth and timely implementation of all change related initiatives.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree and 8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in In-Flight Service / In-flight Administration / Project Management
  • Prior experience with Catering & Retail projects
  • Travel requirement up to 40-60% of time globally (for Catering & Retail)
  • Solid knowledge of business improvement / processes
  • Demonstrated Project Management Skills and the ability to manage programs, projects, orders, activities or systems
  • Demonstrated process improvement roles / experience
