Job Description

• To monitor follow-up with merchandisers on daily basis in terms of product development and approvals and preproduction activities to take place well in advance to planned production start dates.
• To see that the factory is well compliant as per buyer requirements
• To see that all SOPS are in place and followed as a system.
• To monitor day to day expenses as per budget.
• To monitor productivity, on-time delivery with cost control.
• Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Helping the organization's processes remain legally Compliance
• Distinguish fabrics in order to determine differences among them.
• Evaluate fabrics based on their characteristics and their application in wearing apparel manufacturing.
• Distinguish accessories in order to determine differences among them.
• Oversight of all aspects of production output and efficiency, including the ability for hands-on production management support if/when required.
• Mentorship and support of the production team, including management of all aspects of workforce supervision, planning, training, evaluating, upgrading, and labour relations.
• Responsibility for supply chain and materials management, including monitoring /coordination of engineering quoting standards, vendor relations, cost reduction initiatives, and procurement strategies.
• Strategic planning for mid to long term production including forward planning scenarios that may include modifications to factory layout or flow, equipment acquisitions, and/or increased automation.
• Update and implement best practices and foster an innovation culture.
• Management of Danniyeh Royal Trading ISO system and compliance to the standard throughout the organization.
• Oversight of Customer relations including reactive and proactive communications and successful resolution of issues, support, and requests made by the manufacturing department.
• Any other task assigned by the Management of Danniyeh Royal Trading.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor in Textile Engineering or related fields.
• Extensive experience with fabric development, strong knowledge of fabric and polymer science.
• Experience sourcing for apparel and textile manufacturing, especially yarn
• At-leat 10 years for experience in the field of operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
