Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced Operations Technicians specializing in gas operations to join our team in the UAE. As an Operations Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas facilities and infrastructure, contributing to the reliability and performance of our gas distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities on gas distribution equipment, including pipelines, valves, meters, and regulators.
• Monitor and control gas flow and pressure within specified parameters.
• Respond promptly to operational issues and emergencies, implementing corrective actions as required to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment malfunctions, utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to schedule and execute repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles required for gas operations.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills related to gas operations and safety practices.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations at all times, promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in gas operations, preferably in a similar role.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Strong understanding of gas distribution systems, equipment, and operational processes.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in gas operations or related field.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other monitoring/control software.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to gas operations.
