We seek a dynamic Operation Manager for our API manufacturing (API 5CT/6A/7-1/16A/16C) , repair facility & fabrication facility (ASME) in Abu Dhabi. This role serves as the critical liaison between sales and production.
Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities include validating estimated costs, delivery times, and production feasibility with sales, and ensuring materials are delivered on schedule.
• outline the manufacturing steps, product life cycle, milestones, validate machine capabilities, cost estimations, and ensure adherence to API, ASME, QA & QC, safety standards, and scheduled manufacturing times.
• monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency and compliance, and efficiently managing the delivery schedule and inter-departmental needs.
• Projects plan and implement changes/expansions as necessary to meet product demand.
• Reviews implementation of schedules on continuous basis to ensure that the facilities have capacity within objective limits for customer demands.
• Reports to management on ways to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Develops monthly reports on jobs accomplished, personnel and equipment utilization, sales and inventory, generated revenue and incorporated costs.
• Interview prospective job applicants and evaluates workers performance to recommend personnel actions such as hiring, retention, promotion, transfer or dismissal of workers.
• Ensure that the manufacturing plant(s) maintain a safe working environment within the facility/facilities
• Set and manage the annual production budget
• Drive all quality processes, QHSE practices and procedures safety rules in compliance with the policies of Drilltech.
• The post holder is responsible for maximizing contract values, volumes, achievements and progression for learners in line with Drilltech Trainings Strategic and annual plans as well as those of local, regional and national funders.
• The Operations Manager has management responsibility for the activities, operations, staff and resources of the divisional priorities.
• Coordinate and execute projects of piping, structural, Pressure vessel, API 6A, 16A, 16C, 5CT, 7-1 & fabrication and welding jobs
• Execute jobs according to scope, meeting time schedules and within allocated budget
• Report job status to client and top management
• Conduct design review, verification activities.
• Identify new product lines for development.
• To prepare quotes based on the requirements in need arises
• Communicate to customer on the quotes and revisions.
• Estimate the price of products.
• Review Supplier Qualification Questionnaire.
• And/or any other tasks/projects as assigned by the Management.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Minimum 10 (ten) years of relevant experience.
• 5 years management role in manufacturing.
• Have a grasp on old and new manufacturing technology, and not be constrained by conventional ideas
• Have experience in all aspects of manufacturing, from purchasing, materials, QA, HSE, P&L, and Inventory etc.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Be a team leader, and team motivator.
• Strategic thinker / business manager, able to look at the bigger picture
• Be able to work and interact effectively with all levels of personnel
