Northwest Clinic in Dubai is looking for an experienced and dedicated OPD supervisor. As a OPD Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Outpatient Department, ensuring efficient patient flow, high-quality service, and adherence to clinical standards. Also, you will have to supervise staff, manage schedules, coordinate patient care, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patients and families.
Job roles and Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
• Supervise, train, and evaluate OPD staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative personnel.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss policies, procedures, and performance.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new staff members.
Patient Care Coordination:
• Oversee patient scheduling, ensuring optimal appointment availability and minimal wait times.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.
• Address patient concerns and complaints, providing solutions to enhance the patient experience.
Operational Oversight:
• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to improve department productivity.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation practices.
Quality Assurance:
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and accreditation standards.
• Prepare reports and participate in departmental audits as needed.
Communication:
• Serve as the primary liaison between the OPD and other departments.
• Foster a positive team environment and promote effective communication among staff.
Job qualifications and requirements
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting or similar healthcare environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software.
